We ask that you kindly -

We do not permit sharing meals, however desserts may be shared.
Nothing is served ala-carte and we hope that everyone in your party will be ordering.
We cannot permit food from your home or another restaurant
to be consumed inside the Tea Room.
Groups of six people or more: Advance meal and beverage selections are
highly recommended permitting us to serve your guests quickly and in concert.

If you wish to book a party or shower at Tea Room in the Valley
Please call 636.225.4832 after 2 PM, Tuesday - Saturday.
Parties/Showers may begin at 11 AM or 1 PM and last two hours.
We will check your date and time availability and schedule your party.
Our Teacup Room holds 26-28, the Regal Room 10-12,
making it possible for a 38-40 guest maximum.
We will discuss which space in the Tea Room is best suited for your party,
go over your soup, quiche, salad dressing selections and other details.
You will be asked for an estimated guest count. Based on that number a 50% (*non-refundable) deposit
will be required. We accept MasterCard and Visa.
* If you cancel the party 72 hours or less after booking it, we will refund your deposit.
On Private Parties and Showers there is one cheque, plus tax and 20% gratuity.
Pricing Example: Adult meal $11.50 + $1.85 cold beverage = $13.35,
+ 20% gratuity $2.67 + 7.075% tax .94¢ = $16.96 per person.
With dessert + $3.95 = $21.98 per person.
(Would you like a second beverage (such as coffee) served with dessert? If so, total would be $23.63 per person.)
**Ten days prior to your party we will need your final attendance
count, go over everything with you and answer any additional questions. Payment Example: $16.96 per person x 20 = $339.20 ÷ 2 = $169.60
The balance may be paid in advance or paid the day of your event
MasterCard or Visa accepted. We will adjust the balance per your ** final count.

If you wish to bring a decorated cake in for your party or shower,
we will serve it for you; all we ask is that you supply small paper party plates
and that the cake does not require refrigeration or freezer storage.
A dessert fork and cloth napkin are included at each place setting.
Hostess Checklist:
1. Make Reservation and pay 50% deposit (MasterCard or Visa accepted).
2. Send Invitations - include directions to the Tea Room
from our "Maps/Directions" page. Somewhere on the invitation
ask if the guest has any dietary restrictions; and to please
respond (RSVP) two weeks prior to your party.
Including your Email address for RSVP's is quite popular!
3. Order cake that does not require special handling i.e. refrigeration/freezer.
4. TEN days prior to your party, call the Tea Room 636.225.4832 after 2 PM
to finalize your plans, tell us if there are any special dietary needs,
and give us your final guest count.
5. If you will be bringing a decorated cake, remember paper cake plates.
6. Will you need a large paper plate for a ribbon bouquet?
7. Tablet and pen for gift log, scissors, tape.
8. Please bring trash bag/s for wrapping paper - we will dispose of bags.
9. Day of party hostesses may arrive 15 minutes early if you have party favors to place.

CHILDREN'S PARTIES AT THE TEA ROOM

Children's Meal $18.50 includes Two Tea Sandwiches, Fruit Cup,
Beverage & Home Made Cupcake.
We place a candle on the birthday child's cupcake.
Children receive a complementary handmade tea soap favor.
(Soup is not included at Children's Parties)
Pricing example:
$18.50 per meal + 20% gratuity $3.70 + tax 7.075% $1.31 = $23.51 per child.
Two hours allowed 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
This window allows us time to serve the meal, beverage
(For Children's Herbal Tea is often preferred)
and dessert. This also gives you time to schedule any games, craft projects,
or entertainment you have organized; and gift opening. It is best if parent's
drop off their children at 1 PM and pick them up at 3.
We ask that no more than two or three adults sit in on the party.
Please make a reservation for any adults who are staying for lunch,
go by the adult menu pricing above.
We will gladly do separate cheques for the adults if necessary.
