We ask that you kindly -
Refrain from using cell phones and pagers in the dining rooms.
Please set them on vibrate mode and
out of courtesy to others take necessary calls outside.
Smoking is prohibited.
We do not permit sharing meals, however desserts may be shared.
Nothing is served ala-carte and we hope that everyone in your party will be ordering.
We cannot permit food from your home or another restaurant
to be consumed inside the Tea Room.
Groups of six people or more: Your guests will choose from a shorter menu
permitting us to serve your guests quickly and in concert.
Separate Cheques upon request - always our pleasure.
Twenty percent gratuity will be included on group cheques of six or more.

Showers are Our Specialty!
If you wish to book a party or shower at Tea Room in the Valley
Please call 636.225.4832 after 2 PM, Tuesday - Saturday.
We will check your date and time availability and schedule your party.
Parties/Showers may run "11 AM - 1 PM", or "12PM - 2PM" and last approximately two hours.
Our Teacup Room holds 28-30, the Regal Room 10-12,
making it possible for a 38-40 guest maximum.
We will discuss which space in the Tea Room is best suited for your party,
go over your soup, quiche, salad dressing selections and other details.
You will be asked for an estimated guest count.
Based on that number a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
Deposit Example based on 20 guests: $17.70 per person x 20 = $354.00 ÷ 2 = $177.00
We accept MasterCard and Visa.
Then, Ten days prior to your party we will need your firm final attendance count
and double check the details with you and answer any additional questions.
If you cancel the party 72 hours or less after booking it, we will refund your deposit.
On Private Parties and Showers there is one cheque, plus 7.075% tax and 20% gratuity.
The host or hostess makes all of the meal and beverage selections.
Pricing Example: Adult meal $11.95 + $1.95 cold beverage = $13.90,
+ 20% gratuity $2.78 + 7.325% tax $1.02 = $17.70 per person.
If you would you like a second beverage (such as coffee) offered or served with dessert add $2.48 per person.
Adding a regular dessert is $5.40 (includes tax & gratuity).
We now offer some smaller ½ portion desserts which we can go over with you.
Adding a half portion dessert is $2.70 (includes tax & gratuity).
We will make any necessary additions or adjustments to the balance of your bill --
such as second beverages, desserts if being offered if desired...
Balance is due the day of your event, unless paid in advance, MasterCard or Visa accepted.
Coupons cannot be used for parties or groups.

If you wish to bring a professionally decorated cake in for your party or shower,
the cake cannot require refrigeration or freezer storage or be home made!
We will serve it for you -- all we ask is that you supply small paper party plates
A dessert fork and napkin are included at each place setting.
Hostess Checklist:
1. Make Reservation and pay 50% deposit (MasterCard or Visa accepted).
2. Send Invitations - include directions to the Tea Room
from our "Maps/Directions" page. Somewhere on the invitation
ask if your guest has any dietary restrictions; and to please
respond (RSVP) two weeks prior to your party.
Including your Email address for RSVP's is quite popular and effective!
3. Order cake that does not require special handling i.e. refrigeration/freezer.
4. TEN days prior to your party, call the Tea Room 636.225.4832 after 2 PM
to finalize your plans, tell us if there are any special dietary needs,
and give us your final guest count.
5. If you will be bringing a decorated cake, remember paper cake plates.
6. Will you need a large paper plate for a bridal ribbon bouquet?
7. Tablet and pen for gift log, scissors, tape. (Bridal or Baby Hallmark Books are nice to log gifts.)
8. Please bring trash bag/s for wrapping paper - we will dispose of bags.
9. Day of party hostesses may arrive 15 minutes early if you have party favors to place.
10. Relax and enjoy your time with us!
